Opposition to Fascist Italy (help)

#1

Post by jinno » 08 Apr 2002, 03:22

I am currently studying History in England at A-level, and for my coursework I am writing an essay on opposition to Fascist Italy.

The title is 'To what extent did the opposition to Mussolini's government affect wartime Italy?', and I am searching for resources, info etc.

If anyone could provide some help in any way, it would be greatly appreciated. I am finding it difficult to find information in this particular area, as it is quite narrow, and I need both information, and direction(s) to take this essay.

Thanks in advance,

Charles Delzell's book Mussolini's Enemies: The Italian Anti-Fascist Resistance (Princeton University Press, 1961) is one of the most comprehensive sources regarding opposition to Mussolini's rule, so should help figure how Italy's entry into World War II affected anti-fascist opposition in Italy. There is also a Wikipedia link about anti-fascist activities in Italy in WW2:
