Hello Carius,
thank you for sharing these nice images from the Dillingen - Saarlautern area. Really nice is the last posted images of the R 105b Stehbierhalle. For our english speaking friends: "Bar to have a beer without taking a seat"
Regards
Daniel

There’s another picture of the 7P7 armoured plate which acts as ‘ticket outlet’.

Re: Westwall
Hello Jos, thank you for sharing this nice image of a R 116. It is clearly visible, that the Pak Schartenplatte in B wasn't available at that time, so the bunker was prepared for a later installation of this plate (485p2). Planned as a replacement for a limited period of time, but i fact forever, a B1 plate (most probably 413p9 or 473p2) was installed instead. You can identify the empty holes in the plate where originally the anchorbolts would have been placed to fix the steelplate permanently in the bunker. Beside this you can note the small layer of concrete on top of the plate itself. This was necessary because the whole steelplate wasn't covered by concrete on top due to the temporarily installation. If the originally foreseen plate would have been installed, for sure there would have been a much better and in fact thicker layer of reinforced concrete on top of the plate.
Regards
Daniel

Hello Carius,
thank you for sharing those images! The first image shows a R 32 Regimentsgefechtsstand reinforced to 2m (that means B neu) and the last image shows the frontside of a R 24 MG-Doppelschartenstand (only build along the banks of the river Rhine). Only one R 24 ist known to be left intact.
