Hello

Most of the Doppelschartenstanden I have seen were build in the coastline of the A.W.
but in St Nazaire a quit a few Doppelschartenstanden were build in the landdefences
( Landfront ) was this also on other places ?

Regards Jos

Hi Jos,
In IJmuiden one was built in the Anti tankwall on the Northern Landfront

Hi Jos,
I puzzled now a loooong time... found many similar houses... but not exact the same.
Then it pops up... its the same Bunker but one picture is mirrored.
Thats why he looked like twins ;)

Hello

Just as introduction, please have a look back to post #47 of this thread.
Here are two quotes from A.O.K.7 obviously related to the prototype of Meyer-Delvendahl.

Very nice info Arthur

This local design ( Meyer-Delvgendahl ) must have been taken over by the Inspecteur der Landesbefestigung West
because we see this model for the Doppelschartenstand for 5 cm KwK from Holland/German- till the French/Spanish border.

Doppel MG Schartenstand ( BAMA )
Hello Jos, I often find this reference "BAMA", but I have not yet understood what it refers to, and therefore found a way to access it.
Do you need special accreditations, or something else?
I hope for some help.

BAMA = Bundes Archiv Militär Archiv
German Army Archive of the State/National Archive.
You need to visit in person or you could try to find docs on the www (Invenio).
The BAMA is in the process of digitalizing its Archive but that takes a lot of time.

So I have to try on "https://invenio.bundesarchiv.de".
Thanks, really quick response !!
