To Bernd R
KArl Newedel: http://digilander.libero.it/historia_mi ... ewedel.htm

In this page http://www.ciociari.com/speciali/14/14-2.htm are reported some actions of Newedel's Kompanie near Massa Albaneta on 19.3.44. It's reported that Obergefreiter Hufnagel,Obergefreiter Gudd, Gefreiter Sack, Gefreiter Wielun knocked out 1 tank each, Leutnant Eckel 2 tanks, one was destroyed by Eckel and Wiedlun together.

Till now no information about if they received the PVA.

They most certainly did receive badges. Ste, and all others, I always appreciate if you post such information too.

Three names from "Sie Kommen" of Paul Carell...if it's a reliable source, they could be some candidates:

Gefreiter Ruhl, 729 Grenadier Rgt, 2 Kills on 20/21.6.44 in Cotentin Penisula, near 8th Ko. of 1709th Art Rgt

Uffz Kuhnast, 11th Ko/1709th Art Rgt, 1 Kill on 27.6.44 near Cherburg "Corner East"; as what I'm reading he belonged to the zug of Feldwebel Gradert, they knocked out about six tanks that day.

Uffz Poggenbruch 1 Kill on 18.7.44, probably II/192th Grenadier Rgt.

Hi gu
little questions: on some book it is reported that some german soldier knocked - out panzers using panzerbuchsen (i think it was an anti -tank rifle); if it happened after tdb introduction, could him be regarded as tdb winner?
and if a soldier destroyed a dug - in tank, he was a tdb winner?
