19.09.1939: Obstlt. Braubach (Robert), IIa XIX. (mot.) Armeekorps, seinen Verw. erlegen durch Sepsis (Quelle: Guderian, Erinnerungen eines Soldaten) Zitat:
Nachname: Braubach
Vorname: Robert
Dienstgrad: Oberleutnant [sic! Obstlt.]
Geburtsdatum: 10.05.1896
Geburtsort: Metz
Todes-/Vermisstendatum: 19.09.1939
Todes-/Vermisstenort: nicht verzeichnet
Crazy...the official lists of officers casualities in the Polish Campaign mentions him as "am 20.9. nach Verwundung gestorben"...

Another one:

OTL Dolleschal, III./AR 11 KIA 14.9

There is only one v. Stamford listed in the Stellenbesetzung 1938 and no v. Stamford is listed as per as the 1944 Rangliste:

Maj. von Stamford, 01.10.1936 (32), Kdr. I. Abt./A. R. 31

A further one.

28.09.1939: Wagner (Hans-Jürgen), Maj.
Nachname: Wagner
Vorname: Hans-Jürgen
Dienstgrad: Major
Geburtsdatum: 09.09.1907
Geburtsort: Greifswald
Todes-/Vermisstendatum: 28.09.1939
Todes-/Vermisstenort: Klinik Zamosc
I am not sure however about the position. He was quite young for being already a Major in 1939 (aged 32). The only Wagner I can think about fulfilling this criteria might be Hans-Jürgen Wagner, Ib 8. Infanteriedivision, so a General Staff officer. Not sure though.

Erwin,

nice finding. According to Stellenbesetzung 1938 as per as 03.01.1939 he was Obstlt. (01.08.1938 [14]) and Kdr. III. Btl./I. R. 31. Would be a match as he was born in the Kingdom of Saxony and the I. R. 31 was from there.
