Hi!
The remains of the U-Adcock-"bunker" at MPHS Neusiedl (Austria) still exsist.
There are 4cm thick porcelain-blocks or another ceramic.
Thanks to "Geist" from unterirdisch-forum.de (austrian section)!
Best wishes
Rolf

Great work that we can compare the same bunkers from all county's , you can see
the ceramic items on the Luftwaffe Adcock antenna poles .

Hi Jos!
Sorry, but the "ceramic" stuff doesn't belong to the antenna pole foundation.
It belonged to the "bunker". Here is another picture from Neusiedl.
In the moment, I don't have a clue, for what the ceramic was good for...
Thanks again to "Geist"...
Best wishes

Thanks Rolf
The ceramic had to have a isolation function , in the bunker and in the pole's .

Marine Peilstelle Ter Linden Brugge
excellent research, thank you Rolf and Geist!!
this is a picture of the MPHS Brügge ceramic brick, taken of with a hammer (not by me ) some 30 years ago, so some parts are missing; dimensions of one complete brick are: Length: 36,3cm - Height: 11 cm - Thickness: 4 cm; both sides (front and back) covered with brownish lacquer

Hi,
Since this has turned into a general discussion on MHPS I might as well contribute with my new page on MHPS Hjörring, Skibsby:
http://www.gyges.dk/kriegsmarine_signal ... igenc2.htm
red link at the bottom of the page.

Hi Jos!
Very interesting that MPNS Julianadorp had their own Fernschreibstelle (radio-teletype-post) as well!
Is it possible that you post part c of this list? Just to know, where the navy had their Peilstellen at
that time, when MPHS Groningen was established...
Best wishes
Rolf

Hi,
Based on some recent field work by a friend of mine I have updated the page on MPHS Hjörring:
http://www.gyges.dk/MPHS%20Hjoerring,%20Skibsby.htm
I would still love to see German documentation/photos of a KW 8 U 80.

Re: MPHS Marine Peil Hauptstelle Ter Linden Brugge
[quote="MPHS Flandern"]Thanks Rolf for the info about what happened before they moved to Brugge.
Yesterday, saturday 30 march 2013, two persons met in Brügge, one was a German Obergefreiter of the Kriegsmarine that worked in the MPHS, the other one a Belgian woman that did mandatory work in the MPHS and served meals in the wooden baracks. Both were present at the time of the air attack on 28 mai 1944, survived and are aged 90 today!!
Last winter we discovered the exact spot of one of the 3 antennas!
I am interested to find out more about MPHS Flandern, anybody can contact me at [email protected]
thanks

Re: Marine Peilstelle Ter Linden Brugge
Hi!
The crest is quite simple explained.
The anchor stands of course for the navy. The flash is a SIGINT-flash.
Opposite to the "normal" flash for "radio-units" (from upper left to
lower right) is this flash from the upper right to lower left.
The swan is a part of the crest of the city of Neumünster. Note the
crest here: http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neum%C3%BCnster
Best wishes!
