Lili Marleen - Russlandparodie

#1

Post by Wim » 12 Oct 2007, 13:03

I found in a book Een lied! Drie! Vier! von Jan Vincx (after war publisched) a parodie on the song Lili Marleen:

Hier steht keine Laterne
und auch kein grosses Tor,
Hoch über uns die Sterne,
ringsum das wiesse Meer.
Am Stützpunkt nachts ich Posten steh',
erfror'ne Nas, erfror'ne Zeh,
.... Südlich des Ilmensee

Wir bauen unsre Bunker,
Gerät das ist sehr knapp.
Mit dem Tasschenmesser
hau'n wir die Bäume ab.
Seh'n unsre Bunker ers im Schnee
vergessen ist dann Schmerz und Weh

.... Südlich des Ilmensee

Wir wohnen nicht in Villen,
wir hausen tief im Schnee
wir machen nicht durch Brillen
und habe kein W.C.
Sitzt man auf de Komiss-AB
Dann tut vor Frost der Hintern weh
.... Südlich des Ilmensee

Auf einem grossen Bahnhof;
er ist ja ziemlich weit,
da stehet unsre Feldpost,
ist völlig eingeschneit.
Bis sie befreit von Eis und Schnee,
sind wir nicht mehr in ihrer Näh'
.... Südlich des Ilmensee

Vor uns sind die Russen,
zur Seit' und hinten auch,
die einen nennen 's Kessel,
die andren nennen 's Schlauch
Das ganze Korps kan nicht "Passer"
ja selbst der Graf sitzt drin, oh jeh.
.... Südlich des Ilmensee

here a rough translation of the song in englisch please correct me if the text is not 100%

Here stands no lantern
and also no large gate ,
highly over us the stars,
all around the larges lake.
At the base at night i stand guard,
froze sneezed' ne, froze' ne toe,
.... South of the Ilmensee

We construct our bunkers,
device that very tight.
With the Tasschenmesser
we take off the trees.
See' n our bunkers first in the snow
forgotten is then worries and pain
.... South of the Ilmensee

Do we have no lamps
and alas no candles light,
we should have had some
but nobody got them?
In the dark, one hunts lice' and Fl¨h'.
That is 'ne work, alas herrjeh!
.... South of the Ilmensee

We do not live make in villas,
we houses deeply in the snow
we not through glasses
and have no W. C.
One sits on the Komiss-AB
we will get frostbite of the rear
.... South of the Ilmensee

On a large railway station;
it is very far away,
there our field postal service,
got snowed in totally under.
Until it frees from ice and snow,
we are no longer in its vicinity
.... South of the Ilmensee

Before us, the Russians,
and sometimes also behind,
the one name 's 'kessel',
the others name it ('Slauterhouse'?)
the entire corps kan not "pass"
and even the count sits inside, oh jeh.
.... South of the Ilmensee

Thank you very much for your translation, Wim.

A question: ¿Ilmensee = lake Ilmen?

I also found one some time ago. While the 4.SS brigade 'Nederland' defended Narva they made a parodie on Lili Marleen.

Auf dem Weg nach Narwa da steht ein Bataillon,
das sind die letzten Reste von Neerlands Division.
Sie möchten so gerne Moskau sehen,
aber mussten leider stiften gehen
wie eins Napoleon!

Translation:
On the way to Narva there is a battalion,
that are the last remainders of the Dutch division.
They would like to see so gladly Moscow,
but had to go establishing unfortunately
like one Napoleon!
