Who can tell me a bit more about this officer ? I'm looking for his DoD, promotions and NSDAP-number and so on. Was Ternedde Krügel's Adjutant ? When. from ? until ?

Thank You Phil, for your fast reply. Dont'you know the date of Ternedde's death? Was'nt he a NSDAP member and perhaps was'nt he a German ? Being an SS-Hauptsturmfuhrer der Reserve I guess that he was commissioned SS-Untersturmfuhrer and then promoted to SS-Obersturmfuhrer, but I have some confused idea about SS Officer career (from the allgemeine-SS, posting into the Reserve and finally becoming a full Waffen-SS CO) ! Can you give me an explanation ?

This tread is probably a bit obsolete now, but I'll give it a go anyway; I'm looking for information about Ternedde's role in the breakout over the Weidendammer Bridge in the night of May 1, 1945. According to some (Rogmann), Ternedde was in the lead car and allegedly made it through the carnage while the bulk of troops were annihilated in the Russian crossfire. Any information on that and what became of him later. Was he a Dane or a Norwegian (or other). Thanks!
