There seems to be very little information or clarity on this site regarding the career of SS-Stubaf Albert Sauer. Can anybody add to/clarify the following, please?

Born: Aug 17, 1898 (Misdroy)
SS NO: 19,180
NSDAP NO: 862,698
Ustuf: 24/12/33
Stubaf: 11/9/38
Nothing regarding his WW1 career
Oct 1934: zbV SS-Abschnitt XVI
1935: Columbia-Haus (but what was his post?)
1937: Bad Sulza (again, what was his post?)
1937-38: Schützhaftlagerführer Sachsenhausen
Aug 1, 1938 - Feb 19, 1939: CO KL Mauthausen (replaced by Ziereis)
As of June 1939: CO II./SS-Standarte 24
As of March 1940: CO Dulag "Glowna, near Posen
Sept 1942 - April 1943: SHLF Sachsenhausen again
1943-44: CO Riga/Kaiserwald
March 1945: CO Ravensbrück
Killed: May 5, 1945, Falkensee

Thanks in advance

He was not Kommandant FKL Ravensbrück in 1945.
Kommandant was Fritz Suhren until the camp was evacuated.

I didn't think that he was Commandant at Ravensbrück. So, where was he and what was he doing during the last weeks and months of the war? How and where was he killed?
