Re: 2 cm GebirgsFlak 38 ??
Sturm, I think the pics you have posted for the last days are all from seller Manco22, a Bulgarian. In his description of the photos/postcards he usually mentions Bulgaria or Balkan. Its better to repeat that when you post these images, so we do not have to break our heads again and again.
So is the picture described as Bulgarian?
Btw Bulgaria had these wepaons.

Hi all,
According to Filippo Cappellano (Le artiglierie del Regio Esercito nella Seconda Guerra Mondiale), the 20mm Solothurn S18-100 and S18-1100 was bought by italians in two different versions: the AT version on SO-9 carriage with a bipod and two small wheels, and the AA version SO-11 with a three arms field carriage. This book includes this photo showing a weapon very similar to all guns of this thread .
The question is: 20mm Solothurn ST-5, ST-5-106, S5-100 and S18-1100 are different names for the same weapon? I'm very confused
Buyers countries: Bulgaria, Italy, China, ... Any more?
Regards Sturm78.

Hi.
In 1938 the 2 cm Solothurn S 5-100 was tested with the 2 cm Flak 30, the 3,7 cm Flak ST 10-100 and the 3,7 cm Flak 18 on a japanese proving ground in competition to the japanese Type 98 20 mm machine cannon:

Re: 2 cm GebirgsFlak 38 ??
Hi Tom, thank you very much for your information and images.
Have you any image of the 3,7 cm Flak ST 10-100?
Please see: http://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic. ... t=7cm+Flak
Does your second photo show the same weapon (ST24) that you posted in this thread http://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic. ... 5&t=144485 (entitled as ST24 version).
I think that is the same weapon with two pointers gunners, triangular lafette and a small shield at the right. Is this the japanese version of 3.7cm Flak 18 (37mm Type 1) or a original Rheinmetall-Solothurm weapon?
Regards Sturm78.
