Re: ► Photothread: Italian Vehicles in German Service
Hi Sturm,
I think your second armoured vehicle is based on Ceirano 47 chassis, although the closed cab isn't typical for them.
Cheers!

Re: ► Photothread: Italian Vehicles in German Service
Hi Sturm 78,
these Alfa Romeo trucks are not the type 800, but the smaller type 430. And these are postwar versions.
Best regards
Bert

Hi all,
A CV tankette in German use. I think a CV-33 model
Does somebody know how is possible to differenciate between a CV-33 and a CV-35 tankette ??
I think that the CV-35 have a armoured hull with many bolts (or rivets... ) all over the hull, contrary to the CV-33. Is this correct ??
See the two images

Re: ► Photothread: Italian Vehicles in German Service
I don't know how you tell the 33 from the 35 or vice versa, according to Ralph Riccio in his "Italian Tanks and Fighting Vehicles of World War 2", there were only minor design and production changes from the 33 to the 35, he mentions no visible differences.

Hi Sturm.
One of the differences - 8-mm. FIAT model 35 Machine Gun (CV-33)
8-mm. Breda model 38 Machine Gun (CV-35)

Re: ► Photothread: Italian Vehicles in German Service
Uummhhh...According to the book "Italian armoured vehicles of WW2" of Nicola Pignato...only the very first serie of CV-33 was armed with one single 6.5mm Fiat Revelli. The second and late series of CV-33 with two 8mm FIAT-Revelli and CV-35 with 2x8mm Breda Mod.1938....but I can not to differenciate between these machineguns in wartime images... :roll:uncle wrote

According to this book, CV-33 had a riveted hull and CV-35 a simplified and bolted hull and superstructure....Can you distinguish this in the photos?
