...next to a BM-13-16 'Katyusha'', a ZiS-2, an 21cm Lg Mrs? Russia? No muzzle-brake so it can't be the Finnish 105K34. The only other alternative is the Hungarian MAVAG 31 M... Your opinion gentlemen?

I think it is an ex-Dutch M-1927 Bofors, not the Hungarian 31-M (which seems to have had longer equilibrators which leaned forward), somewhat reminiscent of the Soviet 122mm M-1931 corps gun (A-19). It is possible that the gun was spiked before it was abandonned. When did Finns get their guns?

Hi SASH155 !!!
By the way do you have photos of the Hungarian DIMAVAG 149.1mm FH 31M. The only photos I have come from this forum. I think they also had a few 105mm 40M pieces. Any photos of this in Hungarian hands? I know only one survivor, the famous Beograd 105mm carriage with 150mm gun.

Hello All

Here some more pictures of the gun http://www.grebbeberg.nl/bibliotheek/be ... p0004.html
the Dutch Army recieved 52 of these guns , on 01-03-1944 there were 31 X 10.5 cm K. 335 (h) in German
service ,+/- half of the numbers of these guns were used in coast defence in H.K.B. in Norway .

That is what I think. Schwere 10.5cm Kanone 335(h) ((h)27 Boffors).

Best,

Nezar

Nezar,

Why do you call it "schwere" (heavy)? :?

Hi Emmanuel

Possibly for the same reason the schwere 10cm Kanone 18 was. They would have been issued to the heavy battalion of a divisional regiment. They were not heavy guns in the normal sense but more akin to other nations medium artilley.

Hi Clive,

The s.10 cm K18 carried the "s" for "schwere" in its official German designation. However, I've never seen "beute" designations of 105 mm guns referred to as "schwere". :?
