Hello George,

Hello Darko,

Could you tell me what was the exact assignment of dr Glaser in Slovenia?
I have him as "Stabsleiter des Umsiedlungsstabes für die besetzten Gebiete Kärnten und Krains".
Is that correct, or maybe he held other positions?

Regards,
George

Good bio of Dr. Glaser you could also find in the book "Finale der Vernichtung. Die Einsatzgruppe H in der Slowakei 1944/1945" by Lenka Sindelarova. Also bios of other, less-known Gestapo/SD officers attached to the Einsatzgruppe H in Slovakia: Heimbach, Dr. Teichmann, Liska...

Hello All,

As for KdS Krakau, I've recently found out that Kriminalinspektor Fritz Gustav Rau (*1898 ?) was responsible for "Bandeneinsatz" (means probably Abteilung Abwehr, so he most likely dealt with Polish resistance movement) at the KdS Krakau from 1.1.42 onwards. Rau was a member of SEK Eichmann in Hungary from 03.1944 and from 06.44 moved to KdS Budapest. Rau mentioned after the war, that he was "confiscating" food and other goods from People in Cracow. Obviously, all for the Reich ;)
