According to the ebay seller, this is Generalmajor Hans von Weech.
Can anyone confirm or deny based on his awards?

Thanks,
Matt.

Date is a bit off.....

But this is from a konvolut heavily related to WK VIII. In related pics we saw Kempski as Kdr Truppenübungsplatz Neuhammer WK VIII and whom I think must be v Amann earlier kmdr of Truppenübungsplaz Neuhammer and now before his appointment as Kmdt v Breslau.

Bornemann was Kmdr Div Nr 148 WK VIII 01.09.39 - 10.01.40 and according to axishistory.com again in this position 07.02.40 - 10.10.40.
The date 13.10.42 is a bit awkward unless Bornemann was invited as former kmdr of the unit. But Koch Erpach (ex-R?) was easily explained by him being stellv WK VIII and v Schauroth (with glasses) as WEI Breslau

Sorry, but if you mean Karl Bornemann, former Austrian officer, then you are wrong. Wether reassamblance nor an austrian ribbon bar....

Regards

Christian

Here a pic of Bornemann:
Full agree with you, Christian! No Bornemann at all!

I can read his ribbon bar:

- Spange zum EK II. Klasse
- Ehrenkreuz für Frontkämpfer
- Schlesischer Adler-Orden II. Stufe
- Wehrmacht-Dienstauszeichnung
- Wehrmacht-Dienstauszeichnung
- K.u.k. Österr. Militär-Verdienstkreuz III. Klasse mit der Kriegsdekoration
- Königl. Bulgar. Militar-Verdienstorden
- Kaiserl. Türkischer Halbmond
- Österr. Kriegserinnerungsmedaille mit Schwertern
- Ungar. Kriegserinnerungsmedaille mit Schwertern

Glad to help, mate! Our man is Alfred von Puttkamer (page 511, top; 512 top again... not Bornemann!)
