Unfortunately, this informative article is only available in the German-language Wikipedia, but that's about it.
From my photographic collections, such photos are almost always only known to me of unmarried brides.
Married women didn't let themselves be photographed like that.
Such photos are not known from our family, nothing like that took place.
People were too conservative, such things were taboo, uniforms were "sacred", very typical for German families.
