If you are right, and Ebay photo caption is right saying that the photo was taken in France, it could be Bat. Hertha on Ile de Re, near La Rochelle...

I was told that this was a Polish Hotchkiss gun at Oxhóft. ( Ebay )

I would concur that the location is in Poland and was taken no later than 1941. The confirmation is the ID of the ship in the left background. From the design the ship is the EX French Armored Cruiser D'Entrecasteaux which was sold to Poland in 1927 as the Bałtyk. It was used as an unarmed training ship by the Poles, and as a barracks ship by the Germans, before being scrapped in 1941/1942.

Incidentally with the dual side mounted recoil cylinders and the location of the mount it is highly likely that these are 47 MM hotchkisses. At the time of delivery the ship had 6 of them on board.
