I am interested in the place of birth of:

Wegner Hugo (27.07.1897 – executed 14.11.1946) staff prison in Lodz

I am interested in any information about Hugo Wegner. 2 of my grandfathers sister married a Wegner in the 20's or 30's in Lodz/Poland.
The intersting thing is, that in none of their deathcertifications is mentioned the husband Wegner.
The DVL Deutsche Volksliste of my grandfather, grandmothers and greatgrandfather shows a Hugo Wegner, Scheiblerstr. 8 in Lodz as guarantor.
Any informations are welcome.

The archive in Lodz found the DVL of Hugo Wegner *27.07.1897, the husband of my grandfathers sister.
Now I know the reason why she never mentioned him when she had to flee from Poland to East Germany.
I will get the DVL in a few days. DVL is the German People's List.

Czekalla was extradited on 15/03/1949 from British zone to Poland. He was among the group of 8 men who were successfully extradited by the British to Poland in 1949. The other were:

Polotzek Wilhelm, SS guard in KL Auschwitz, extradited on 15/03/1949.

"Zakładach" isn´t a location in Poland but Polish and means "in workplaces/workshop/factories"
on the other hand there is a tiny village called "Zakład" near Lwow in the Ukraine but I doubt that a man with such a German name was born there:
