catharina 'katja' schot was born in the netherlands in 1925, when nazi germany took over the netherlands in 1940, katja
applied to be a member of the ss, and in 1943 she was sent to vught as an ss-aufseherin, from there she went to
ravensbruck. at the end of the war she returned home to the netherlands. if she were alive today, she'd be 83 years
old.
any additional information that you can add on this concerning her life after 1945, would be greatly appreciated,
also, i would love to see some photos of katja schot.

thanks,
quadriff

does anyone out there have any information on the post war fate of Aufseherin Hasse - did she escape
punishment, did she die, i've never heard of there ever having been a trial for her. she'd be 91 today if
she were still alive - also, a photo of her would be greatly appreciated.

Margarete Freinberger

Post by quadriff » 20 Feb 2009, 00:57

Margarete Freinberger was born in 1919 in Austria, she came to Mauthausen in 1944, and was
promoted to SS-Oberaufseherin, she was the head of over 500 women prisoners - then she
was sent to the Lenzing subcamp of Mauthausen - as american troops swept through Austria,
Aufseherin Freinberger fled and has never been captured - could anyone provide any additional
information on the post war fate of Margarete Freinberger, when did she die, etc.
thanks,
oh, a photo would be great too
