In another discussion Juha Tompuri contributed his photograph from the graveyard of Hirvelä, of a small memorial stone to fallen Soviet aviators in the wars against Finland:

It just made me curious -- does anyone know of other examples of monuments elsewhere in the world, to commemorate wartime enemy aviators, including bomber crews, erected on the soil which they bombed?
