The official AHF France quiz thread
The official AHF France quiz thread
We've had several different quizes running here in the forum for a while with great success and this new section has been open for a long while without one, so I'm starting one here too.
The rules are very simple:
The first one to post the correct answer to a question, posts a new question (must be on France during the 1919-1945 period) and so on.

Good evening, Marcus!
Just to save the new quiz from pre-mature slowing down... The answer is French State (État Français)
Best regards, Aleks

Sorry for delay - new question:
A French general was POW first in 1914 and later in 1940. He escaped from captivity both times! He also got Légion d'Honneur for a very famous Interwar episode.
Who was he?
