Hello ilfil,
Thank you very much for the ID. I've never seen this type before-of course they had a very short service life.

Hi Max,
maybe interesting for You, a similar vehicle, a so-called Tankspritze TF 25 also on the chassis of a Mercedes-Benz L 4500 A, produced for the Luftwaffe (source of the pic: "Feuerwehrfahrzeuge im Einsatz 1939 - 1945" by Michael Foedrowitz).
Best regards
Bert

Hi,
here apic of a captured French vehicle of a fire brigade, a Laffly BS C 2, now used by the Germans, probably on a French airport. Source of the pic: an expired ebay auction.

Bert

Thanks for your answers, Max and Bert.
I suppose that it is impossible to differenciate...both are almost identical...
Here, another Magirus truck (from Ebay). Any idea ?

Re: ► Photothread: Vehicles of the Axis fire brigades
Hi Max,
an interesting pic! Could it be made after the end of the war? I have found a pic of a similar vehicle in the book "Feuerwehrfahrzeuge im Einsatz 1939 - 1945" by Michael Foedrowitz. It has the designation "Magirus-Mannschafts- und Gerätewagen" (Magirus personnel and material carrier) and "leichter Gasschutz-Kraftwagen" (light gas protection motor vehicle). Maybe the vehicle on Your pic was later converted into a fire engine.
Best regards
Bert

Re: ► Photothread: Vehicles of the Axis fire brigades
Hi Sturm 78,
don´t be surprised by my activity, but the Corona-virus makes me stay at home and so I have much time.
To Your questions:
pic 1: the vehicles are Mercedes-Benz L 1500. The German fire brigades didn´t get the type L 1100. More difficult is the designation LLG. That depends when the pic was made and to which formation the vehicles belonged:
from 1st May 1943: LF 8 (Löschfahrzeug)
till 30th April 1943: LLF (leichtes Löschgruppenfahrzeug) - Reichsministerium des Inneren (Reichs Ministry of the Interior) -
or KzS 8 (Kraftzugspritze) - Reichsluftfahrtministerium (Reichs Ministry of Aviation)
pic 2: I totally agree with You, that´s a Mercedes-Benz L 3750. But the same problem with the designation KS 25:
from 1st May 1943: LF 25 (Löschfahrzeug)
till 30th April 1943: GLG (großes Löschgruppenfahrzeug) - Reichsministerium des Inneren (Reichs Ministry of the Interior) -
or KS 25 (Kraftfahrspritze) - Reichsluftfahrtministerium (Reichs Ministry of Aviation)
Best regards
