Re: 3,7 cm PaK 36(p)
Hi Sturm78!!! Best regards!!!
Very interesting subject for me !!!
The Polish AT Boforses officially called 37mm wz. 36 in my Country and were built by two factories: Stowarzyszenie Mechaników Polski z Ameryki (SPMzA) in Pruszków (near Warsaw) and in H. Cegielski in Rzeszów.
In first time Polish Army buy 300 Bofors guns from Sweden. The contract was signed in December 1935, and first 40 guns carried out to Poland in February / March 1937. Swedish approved to sell only 300 guns. In the early 1937 in Poland started production under license. Two factories built 900 guns to Polish Army and 224 (other sources about 250) for export to Spain (24 guns) (to Your Country Sturm78 !!! ), Great Britain (plan 250) and Romania (plan 252). Total number built in Poland (included export) is 1124 or about 1150.
1200 is the total number of this guns in Polish Army on September 1, 1939 (included 300 originally Swedish built). Interesting the 1936/1937 military plan intentioned number of 37mm wz. 36 as 3038 in 1940
Interesting Polish website about AT 37mm Bofors wz 36:
The best Polish site about 37mm wz. 36 is http://www.weu1918-1939.pl/artyleria/pr ... ofors.html
The others:

http://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Armata_prz ... rna_wz._36
http://www.emwpaedia.muzeumwp.pl/armata ... -kal-37-mm
and in the end Polish Army number of weapons and equipments in 1939 http://forum.o2.pl/temat.php?id_p=4620977 where total number of this guns was 1265, but this number probably included some guns to export.

Re: 3,7 cm PaK 36(p)
Hi all,
I found this image on Ebay. I think 37mm Bofors AT guns of Finnish Army. The wheels and limbers are not equal to those of the Polish guns. Can anybody confirm this?

I think you may be right. There seems to be quite a few detail differences between Swedish made guns, Polish guns and Finnish home made ones all in use with the Finns in WW2. http://www.jaegerplatoon.net/AT_GUNS1.htm

In the background is a German solider. I am just wondering if the man on the gun it is a German clowning around in typical Balkan costume.
