Are you sure that all photos from Pillau?

First and third photo, I saw that they were designated as a series of photographs of anti-aircraft defense of Konigsberg.

The second picture is a Marine anti-aircraft battery in the Pillau.

Frey-Fox do you have more Russian drawings of the flakbatterie ??
No longer met.

Hello,

Yes they were described as Konigsberg as far as i know by Maxim Kolomiets-right? But have you found any Flak batteries around Konigsberg? More logicaly they were placed closer to see - they were offenly bi-functional: anti-aircraft and sea cost. That steel cupola with destroyed radar is from 4x10,5cm battery-even the same soldiers is on both of the photos.
I suppose that photos published by Kolomiets of 12,8 Flak are also from Pillau.

This is a list of sea cost/flak batteries based on memoirs of German soldiers from Festung Pillau in 1945. Sorry only written locations witout pin-points on the map. But it's good for You to tracethem in terrain:

Festung Pillau 1945

Seezielbatterie NO Lochstadt (Haffufer) alte 8,8cm Uboot Kanonen
Seezielbatterie Plantage 1km N. Zitadelle 3x15cm
Seezielbatterie Neutief W. Neutief 124Mann 220 Flakhelfer 4x15cm

Marine Flak Batterie St.Adalbertskreuz 4x12,8cm
Marine Flak Batterie Neuhauser W.Reichstrasse 131 hinter Neuhauser Riegel 4x12,8
Marine Flak Batterie Kaddig (zugl. Reserve Gef-Std Seekommandant) 4x12,5cm

Marine Flak Batterie Schanze Ostseedune W. MFlB Neuhauser (Vorher S.Flak Bttr. Peyse) 4x10,5cm
Marine Flak Batterie Kamstigall SW Rand Kamsigall-Horn 4x10,5cm
Marine Flak Batterie Haken 4km O. Kamstigal,Kamstigal Haken am Haff 4x10,5cm
Marine Flak Batterie Nordmole am Plantage N. Zitadelle 4x10,5cm
Marine Flak Batterie Lehmberg (zugl. Reserve Kdo Std Flak GrKdo) 4x10,5cm

Pak Bttr von Mowenhaken 4x7,5 oder 8,5cm

Hey, I'm doing a little research for someone who wants to visits the place were his grandfather died.
Which battery had the designation 3./M.A.A. 533?
Was it 3x 15 cm Seeplantage?

Hi Torsten

I don't have the M.A.A. 3./533 , but I know what it's not 1./533 Seeplantage and 2./533 Neutief
my best quess is that it was M.K.B. Hirschweise with 15 cm S.K.C/28 .

Hi Pillau 1 depicts a radar of the type Flakleit g, a type not seen very often, I have only seen it in KM 10,5 cm batteries.

Thanks, I thought of Seeplantage because he said the battery had three 15 cm guns.
Is Hirschweise (or Hirschwiese?) the 15 cm battery south of Pillau (4-15** on the map on the first page)?

Jos' drawing shows bunker 'Werk fur 1 Ferngeschutz (K3F) mit indirekter Bedienung'
K3F-what gun is it??? It's fortress version of well known heavy K3 gun?
This mounting of the gun-hmm looks lik early kind of something like Sockellafette?...
