As was already mentioned, "Fury" is just a (painfully) long video game commercial (to be more precise: for the "World of Tanks" game) and there's really nothing else that needs to be said about it. It's The worst war movie merely because it's not even a proper movie but a shallow commercial made for the matching audience.
Note: One can compare new movies with the old ones only to an extent. The standards were different. Back in the day, people didn't care much about the accuracy of outfits end equipment, language and so on, they used their imagination for everything that was missing. The movies were often quite cheesy and historically inaccurate, but that was completely acceptable at the time. Many of those movies still had value, provoking positive/strong emotions. But the bar has been raised in the meantime and such filmmaking is no longer acceptable. However, nowadays, most filmmakers are focusing on the opposite - the outfit and equipment accuracy - provoking no emotions whatsoever. Dressing up in a historically accurate outfit is not what makes a good war movie. Sadly, it seems that only a handful of modern directors are aware of that or care about it.
Cheers,
Ivan
