Then I'd say the chassis is the Isuzu Type 2 4x4:

試製機械化歩兵車 was 4x4. But, Isuzu Type 2 had water-cooling diesel engine. And 試製機械化歩兵車 was made in 1938, 4 years before Type 2.

It is Type 95 Railroad Repair Vehicle (九五式鉄道工作車). It was developed by Sumida and adopted by IJA in 1935.

These are not trucks, but searchlight vehicles. Sumida PCA is 150mm searchlight vehicle developed in 1936. The chassis is equivalent to Type 94 6-Wheeled Truck.

In 1932, Sumida PC 150mm Searchlight Vehicle was developed. It was based on Sumida P truck.

Sumida PCA 150mm Searchlight Vehicle is the upgrade of Sumida PC 150mm Searchlight Vehicle according to Type 94 Truck.

And how was the searchlight machine based on type 94 designated?

Sumida chassis looks different from type94.

The designation is unknown. One says that it is also PCA. But, it is different form PCA. Probably, it is one of many variants of Type 94 and had no special designation.

This is an extended version of the type94 chassis. Used in various versions. Strange that it has no designation?

The first photo is surgery vehicle. The second photo is probably hydrogen gas generating vehicle. I have never heard of their designation.
