Leichter Einheitswaffenträger 8.8cm PaK 43/3 L/71
Hello, I've found these two images of this Waffenträger on the internet and would like to know if anyone has any information or other photos of this vehicle. I believe this vehicle to be made by Rheinmetall-Borsig/ Ardelt

kstdk thanks, i've typed in all the different names of the Waffenträger that i have based on the pz 38(t) pz 38(d) chassis and hav all the photos i can find on the net.
Does anyone have any specs or other pictures please?
I'm going to Bovington Tank Museum tomorrow, Dorset in the UK so after i've had a good look around i'm going to have a look at the books on sale there.

Hi Mike,
This picture must have been scanned from Jentz & Doyle’s Panzer Tracts No.7-3 – Panzerjäger (7.5cm Pak 40/4 to 8.8cm Waffentraeger) as this is the only publication that has ever carried these photographs. There is a set of six beautiful pictures of this trial Ardelt –Rheinmetall Waffentraeger.
If you want to understand the whole development of these 8.8 cm Waffenträger you will definitely need this Panzer Tracts. I think you need all of the Panzer Tracts if you are really interested in history based on primary research rather than a comfortable read based on conjecture. In this volume are about 24 pages devoted to 8.8cm Waffenträger history with loads of great quality pictures of the five main versions and several sets of detailed drawings by Doyle.
My copy was published in 2006 so it should be available through the various book shops or direct from Panzertracts.com
