Hi everybody,

I am looking for the exact numbers of successful escape from the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp.

According to Polish Historian and one of the leading Auschwitz experts Franciszek Piper, 500 prisoners escaped from Auschwitz. However, I don't know if all escapes were successfully in the end or if some were captured later by someone else than the Auschwitz SS.
