Re: Polizei vehicles
Hi,
The registrate plate is not very clear, but it seems to be "Pol..." Quiete interesting because it seems to be some inter-war era armoured car. Which model? In the original text it mentioned Berlin, May 1945.
Any info? Thanks
Arto

Hi,
Yes, this is a Daimler DZVR which was used by the "verstärkter Panzerkraftwagen-Zug Berlin" (reinforced armoured car platoon Berlin) until May 1945. Another part of this unit was probably the Wilton-Fijenoord armoured car with Krupp chassis which is located behind the DZVR in the picture. The location is the courtyard of the Reichskanzlei.
Regards,
Simon

Thanks Simperator,
I think this same vehichle that for example "Prinz Eugen" division had in Balkans, but I didn´t expect that they also existed in Berlin. Interesting.

The wheeled vehicles of the Prinz Eugen were Daimler ADGZ (Austrian) cars, like these in the picture below (see the divisional sign on the turret.) The unit had also at least one Russian BA-20.

Re: Polizei vehicles
Hi George
i think both pics are better in the Fire service section
First pic is a LLG later LF8 based on a MB L1100
second is the staff car of a Fireservice unit . In the background we see a KS15 Magirus MK with a front pump. its in line with several other fire service trucks.
we read on the backsite of the pics often Beeskow, its a little village near Berlin.
best regards
Henning
