A rather absurd use of the Omnibus tripod/MG08 as the shooter cannot possibly see past the sheild effectively and has virtually no freedom of movement to follow the path of an airplane unless it flies by on the axis of the MG. What is this guy thinking? Yikes!
No booster on the muzzle as well.
The pintle adaptor for the MG08 is visible in the proceeding photo of the mount on the horse pack. Looks like a bracket that is held by the top and bottom trunnions on the jacket and volted together and the bracket has smaller trunions on either side to fit the mount such as are on the 1907s and Hotchkiss MG receivers.
Interesting shields in the previous several photos with the use of the MG0 and the 1907.
