The gun on the left is the towed version of the 8,8 cm Bufla: we can see that the barrel cannot elevate as there is o appropriate slit in the shield.

I think that the guns on your picture were destroyed by Polish aircraft at Mużyłowice in September 1939. See here: http://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic. ... &view=next

In particular look at the top left picture posted by Domen121 on "30 Dec 2009 06:19" (end of the thread - page 2): the end of the barrel is bent the same way as the gun in the middle of your picture.

In this thread there seems to be a large number of 15 cm sFH 18s with blown barrels. Is anyone aware of reoprts of weak barrels with these guns or ammuntion prematures?
