The two photos below: The Romanian Obuzierul Skoda cal. 100mm md.1930 exhibited in the Aviation Museum (Muzeul Aviaţiei) in Bucharest, Romania

Unfortunately I don't know whether it is the howitzer bought by the Romanian Army before the ww2 or meybe ex Czechoslovakian 10cm lehká houfnice vz.30 captured by the Germans in 1939 and sold as 10cm lFH30(t) to the Romanian Army during the war.

The two photos below: The Romanian Obuzierul greu Skoda cal. 150mm md.1934. If I'm not mistaken (but I'm not sure), this howitzer can be towed in two ways: in one piece (first photo) and in two pieces - barrel and carriage separate (second photo).

The 3rd photo: Cover the Romanian book about artillery and part of the page of this book with pictures of Romanian Skoda howitzers. Maybe someone has this book (Romanian member of AHF ?)and posted some interesting informations about Skoda howitzers and cannons in which the Romanian Army was equipped.

Hi all,

Can somebody identify the model of this Skoda gun?

First I thought 10cm Vz.30 howitzer (same wheels and box trail) but the shield not match.

I think you are right. Not box trail but split trails closed

Yugoslavia in December 1935th ordered 48 motorized howitzer 15 cm M 36. The howitzers were delivered during the 1936th and 1937. Mark M 33 is not correct.

Thank you for the correction, ltcolonel. 15 cm sFH402(j) = 15 cm M.36 indeed.

If I'm not mistaken, the 15 cm M36 was a Skoda K2 version, a modernized version of the M33, a Skoda K1 version.

The limber and horses harnesses look very similar to the ones in the photos in "Artileria Romana in date si imagini " by Col Adrian Stroea and Lt Col Gheorghe Bajenaru. So I think they are Romanian.

I agree, and if you look closely, one of the troopers has a Mannlicher-Berthier mle. 1892/16 carbine slung on his back, Romanians had received a good number of these from France post World War 1 (as did the Yugoslavs btw). At this point Yugoslavs would more likely have vz. 24 Mausers. The barrels look too short to be the field gun I think, could they be the 100mm FH... or not? I guess the barrel of the Romanian 76.5mm M-1928 Skoda field gun was significantly shorter than that of either the Czech vz. 30 8cm FG or the Yugoslav M.28 or the Iranian version of this weapon (see the photos earlier in the thread with the crew men in training).

I would wager that this photo is of captured 149mm Jug M.36 (K-2) FH's during the 1941 invasion, note German soldier.
