These are the best shots of this model of helmet. These picturese were taken in 1938, when Mustafa Kemal Ataturk's body arrived to Ankara.

Dear Steve, They are all Turkish soldiers. In the 1st pic the soldier seen from the back is a cadet of War School the Harbiye. He is wearing dark green ceremonial uniform.(please take a look at my cadet pic that I posted above) The officers walking by the sarg are pashas. They are also wearing dark green ceremonial uniforms. They are pashas because they have their red stripe on the trousers. The soldiers in light blue uniform are not French. It is a painting error. The battledress of the Turkish soldier was "boz" (light grey) at that time The ordinary Mehmet had only one uniform. The Boz (grey) uniform. cheers.

Me with my fathers orderly soldier Hasan Gemici at the city of Van in 1942i late Hasan gemici wearing the "Boz" uniform.

These are captured on Turkish-Greco War mostly, maybe some bought from France after Ankara Agreement on the Southern Front. Also Stahlhelms were used till 30's. Helmets were mainly grey.
