Hi all,

I think these trucks are Büssing-NAG type 2.5 25 Burglöwe. Accordig to photo caption, in San Sebastian

Used the Legion Condor this model ?
The trucks seems new

Caterpillar tractors towing artillery. I think 10cm Skoda M14 Italian howitzers....

thank You very much for posting this very interesting pic.
You are right, these trucks are Büssing-NAG type Burglöwe. But I think it is the type 30. Here a pic of this type for comparing out of the book "Das Lastwagen-Album Büssing" by Bernd Regenberg.

B.t.w. this model (Burglöwe) is not mentioned in my list of vehicles used by the Legion Condor.

There were a number of the ALVIS SALAMANDER fire fighting vehicles brought to Canada. These were the 6 wheeled machines based on the Stalwart chassis platform.

Does anyone know if one has survived anywhere in Canada?

Apparently the Legión Cóndor received 30 Büssing-NAG type 30 Burglöwe in February 1939 (that information was posted in a Spanish forum).

Hi,

here another pic with a vehicle of the Legion Condor. It is a Mercedes-Benz type Lo 2750 (source: "Mercedes-Benz PKW und LKW 1935 - 1945" by Dr. Hans-Georg Mayer-Stein).
