History of the Great War: put in for a B despite being unfinished to get some ideas as I've not done a book article before.

An interesting effort on an obscure corner of the Big Two by Indy beetle, with a little help from me.

Interesting article. Just curious, but do you know where the British contingent from Tientsin landed for the siege of Tsingtao in 1914? The Japanese had landed at Longkou and Laoshan, and it would look a rather long way to have walked from Tientsin, plus there are a few pictures of British troops seemingly on beaches being described as 'arriving for the seige'.
Re: Poelcappelle 9 Oct 17
Had a look in the military and navy OHs but nothing on the siege I'm afraid.

Not quite finished but it's an article now. I think I've managed to navigate the Scylla of the truth and the Charybdis of Wiki NPOV and RS.

Cheers for looking, I have never been able to pin it down, but will have a look in some of the more obscure naval logs or regimental histories to see if anything lists a transport operation taking place anywhere in this period. For some reason this action goes almost unmentioned.
