Gun Carrier Mark I revised and expanded by gleaning from some newer sources.

Baughen G. The Fairey Battle: A Reassessment of its RAF Career (2017) Fonthill Media, Stroud, 978-1-78155-585-9

Worth a read for its rehabilitation of the Battle as a tactical day bomber. Baughen leans a little to much on hindsight but his trawling of primary sources is difficult to fault.
