Items taken from the Reichskanzlei in Moscow Musea
Hi to all!
As we were discussing a thread about the Reichskanzlei in another Chapter of this Forum, I showed them some pictures from the russian book: "TROFEI Vtoroi Mirovoi" (Trophys from the Second World War) by Vladimir B. ULIANOV (ed.: Moscow 2004).
The author published a nice book with a wealth of pictures about trophys, the Soviet Army took from several buildings (mainly from the Reichskanzlei, Target #1...).
Amongst their many finds, nowadays all in Moscow in different musea, on display or hidden away in their archives, are a lot of gifts to the Führer, all captured in the Reichskanzlei.
Some colleagues asked me to show me these items. So I opened this thread. If this not belongs to this Chapter, please do tell me so and redirect me to where this thread should belong.
In the meantime - enjoy some super rare artefacts from Moscow!!

A first one: pages 65 - 70: a beautiful crafted Angel (cheerubine?) in bronze on a black marmor stand - made by the company "BELLAIR & Co" - Friedrichstrasse 182 in Berlin.

Next gift to the Führer which they captured is an Armbind (brassard?), made by hand in Osaka, Japan, consisted of 10,000 knots made by hand by the pupils of different schools in Osaka. According to the original contemporary label, every child made ONE knot and passed it on ....

Next: a bronze plaque remembering Hindenburg, mimicking a book made of very precious wood, highly polished and incrusted with a catholic cross and swastika... The plaque is in bronze and very high craftmanship..

Fantastic artifacts...."love the 1000 stitch Swastika Armband".....how typically "Japanese"! I wish more of the treasure trove of artifacts in the Russian Museums & Archieves would be "properly exhibited" and shared.....thanks for shareing these!

Next Gift... From Italy: a woven handcrafted cloth decoration.... with a rather odd looking Führer and a reversed swastika... Image Hitler's face being presented with this cloth... Mussolini, on the contrary...

Next gift: a handcrafter painted pewter eagle with swastika. Obviously presented in 1938, bearing an inscription in Sütterlin. Anyone?

Next present: a beautifully crafted walking cane, incrusted with the Führer's monogram "AH" and adorned with Party symbols and showing the carved words: "Ein Volk, Ein Reich, Ein Führer" -" Sieg Heil". The details are really stunning.
