Re: Swiss artillery in WW2
For my money this is one of the French Schneider Company designed but swiss produced 105 mm turrets emplaced in the vicinity of Sargen in Switzerland. I dont have the Swiss designation.

Nobody for my last image ??
Well, here an image form Ebay. First, I thought an 15cm Bofors (W+B) M1942 howitzer modernized qirh a new muzzle break but...now I am not sure
The top of the equilibrators not match and the barrel seems longer....
The image is dated in 1946.
When the 15cm M1942 Swiss howitzers were modernized with muzzle breaks ??
I think that these howitzers were modernized later with new wheels

I think that, at first, 15cm M1942 Swiss howitzers did not have muzzle breaks
After, the howitzers were modernized with muzzle breaks (when ?? ) and finally, were modernized again with new pneumatic wheels.
Does somebody have any image of the 15cm M1942 howitzer without muzzle break ??

Re: Swiss artillery in WW2
Never seen a photo with no muzzle brake. According to http://www.kleinluetzelbunker.ch/downlo ... _AGLAT.pdf in the mid-50's the howitzers received air chamber tyres and air brakes but no mention is made of a muzzle brake retrofit there.
