I have a few questions about these half-tracks.
What is the designation of the trailer carried by the Sd. Kfz. 250 and are there any photos of a 251 with a trailer?
What size artillery pieces and anti-tank guns could the 250 & 251 carry in tow?
What other things did they carry in tow?
What is the boxy superstructure on top of the 251 in one picture on the first page (251 in a stream)?

1. The Sd. Ah. 32/1 trailer is for extra ammunition carried by the Sd.Kfz. 252
2. The Sd.Kfz. 251/4 was designed to tow the 7.5 cm le.IG 18 but towed the Pak 38, Pak 40 and 10.5 cm leFH 18
3. Superstructure is a map table for the Sd.Kfz. 251/18

Luftflotte, I would have to disagree with you on number 3. There is no evidence to suggest that they were in fact 251/18 but just the standard command field conversion carried out by 1 Panzer Division in 1941.

Are they trailers?

I know some models had guns attached (fabricated) to them, but I was more interested in what was commonly towed.
(Am I just not seeing them on the list?)

Yes the wheel is a trailer of some sort, that's why Luftflotte posted the photograph.

I believe the cart is behind an ammunitionsspw.
The cart was also used for ammo.
