Fortifications of Imperial Germany

I have to share another one, a tripple wellblech from WW1. two wellblech rooms next to each other with a third balanced in the middle ABOVE the othere two... this third room also have an armoured plate with a closing mechanism that looks like one from the Atlantikwall (skoda, 611,...)

Like i said, there are a thousand things i can share from those old WW1 bunkers, which you guys can compare with stuff still used in the Atlantikwall

Hi Bunkerfreak. Is it detached searchlight position of Feste Luitpold?

By the way, the armoured plate, which could be raised is a usual German solution, used at the older forts to cover the QF guns, also for the 77mm guns and searchlights at the modern concrete forts. But it was always installed inside.

The outside plate was at the original Czechoslovak Skoda gun plate and its German successor.

Searching for other subject I found in Jacar archive a set of documents attached to treaty of Versailles annexes under the tittle Ausrüstung der Batterien der Festung xxx mit Handhabungsgerät, Werkzeugen usw. for following areas; Pillau, Swinemünde, Wilhelmshaven, Cuxhaven, Borkum, Norderey. Each one has a list of existing batteries with its armament.

Update from other source - documents attached to Nuremberg Trials files.
