An overview of the E-batterie 4./1240:

The maps i've photographed are in A3, i've just put them over each other to create a bit a "complete" map

Stp. 106 Lisseweghe (4.HKAR 1240)

PS: i forgot from who i've got this list, i have two persons in thought, its not my purpose to knock them against theire head, it's just for educational purpose and for our study into the 'wall.

Hello,

British aerial, date unknown, classified as 'railway batterie Zeebrugge', but obviously Lissewege.

We see the place of the Leitstand, (yellow circle) and the 4 turntables (in red circle)
Also observe the trench leading to now gone farm houses.
But the British also noticed something at the left, pont 'C' Any one knows what this could have been

regards,

Cnock

Must be something they thought was military that caught their attention, otherwise they would not have pointed it on the foto

This is Reichsbahn Nr. 919176.

According to Alain Chazette in his green book on the coastal batteries in Normandy, Guns Nr. 919176 and 919177 formed E.685 which would become 3./1262, first positioned at Barneville-Carteret then at Auderville Laye.

The landscape on the ebay pictures seems to me to be the one around Auderville-Laye.
