The second image is T-9153.
The third image is T-9121.

They are both Mk.IV and both served with the Queen's Bays and were lost in France in June 1940. The Queen's Bays took to France in May 1940 Cruiser Tanks Mk.Ics, Mk.II and Mk.IV. They did not take any Mk.III to France - modified/upgraded or not.

T-18121 was a Mk.IVa which only left the factory 6 months after that picture was taken.

But for anyone interested in such, it would be a simple task to ascertain by comparing pictures with WD No.s to see the progression.

Try to forget all about the notion that Mk.III being upgraded to Mk.IV. Even the Tank Museum itself has rowed back on that claim. Other than the vehicle at the Tank Museum in Bovington, there is no evidence that any other vehicle was similarly altered. A photo exists of what appears to be a modified vehicle - but no indication to suggest it was other than the one now in the museum.

Well, so all the tanks with the turret with angled plates would be Mk.IV... :roll:

Most likely BSA's. The "V" shaped front forks, The style and position of the speedometer, and the style of the wide, flat front mudguards look like those in other images.

BSA M20 .....ummmhhh...it is possible that you are right but... all British motorcycles are quite similar...and from this angle is is difficult to ensure

Good point about the similarity in appearance. I discounted the Norton 16H because the front brake drum is on the wrong side.

Looking more closely at the photo, I think BSA badges are visible on the fuel tanks.

There is a photo here which shows the badge clearly. It appears to be from the same unit - Note the "Lion Rampant" on the front mudguard.

Ummhhh...I think the the shape of the front fenders and the rims of the front wheels match with the Guy FBAX ....but I can be wrong...
