An Umbau based on a 1936 Chevy. I believe the tanker is a Willeme, but I'm not sure of the exact model.

second photo-Bedford converted to an artillery tractor? Is it "one-off", or has anyone seen more photos of such type?

Hi Jose,
Definitely not one-off!

Note these are regular army, not Waffen SS.
Cheers!

Hi Jose,

sorry, I cannot ID the Umbauwagen on pic 1.
You are right with Your ID of the Umbauwagen on pic 2.
pic 3: Yes, I think like You, that the first and third Umbauwagen are converted from cabriolets. My ID from the right: Horch 830, Horch 830, Horch 951 with the spoke wheels (the same type on the pic 4).
pic 5: the Umbauwagern on the ferry seems also to be the type 830.

Best regards

Bert

Hi,

an interesting Umbauwagen: a leichter Einheits-PKW modified into a light truck.

Regards

Bert

Hi Bert,
Very interesting. Is that a high pressure gas bottle protruding from the back?

Hi Max,

Yes, I think so, because this vehicle belonged to a "Instandsetzungsstaffel" (I-St.) - maintenance echelon.

Best regards

Bert

Many thanks, Bert. No doubt they have a welding rig inside as well.
