Re: ► Photothread: Umbauwagen
An Umbau based on a 1936 Chevy. I believe the tanker is a Willeme, but I'm not sure of the exact model.
Cheers,

Hi Jose,
Definitely not one-off!
Note these are regular army, not Waffen SS.

Re: ► Photothread: Umbauwagen
this old one?
Hanomag Sturm?
Horch group?Looks like the first and third are converted from cabriolets?
39 Plymouth? If it is the same car on both photos?

Hi Jose,
sorry, I cannot ID the Umbauwagen on pic 1.
You are right with Your ID of the Umbauwagen on pic 2.
pic 3: Yes, I think like You, that the first and third Umbauwagen are converted from cabriolets. My ID from the right: Horch 830, Horch 830, Horch 951 with the spoke wheels (the same type on the pic 4).
pic 5: the Umbauwagern on the ferry seems also to be the type 830.
Best regards
Bert

Hi Bert,
Very interesting. Is that a high pressure gas bottle protruding from the back?

Hi Max,
Yes, I think so, because this vehicle belonged to a "Instandsetzungsstaffel" (I-St.) - maintenance echelon.
Best regards
Bert
