Romanian Truck
Can anyone help me to identified this truck. It appears in an Osprey book from Axis East Armies.
I think its a model from the 20's.

Hola Amigo:
Not a very good photo, but an "educated guess" would be a Steyr 640 as you can see below.

Bill, Is it not an Austro-Daimler ADGR ? There is a very clear photograph of the ADGR in Vanderveen's "The Observer's Fighting Vehicle Directory" which is identical in all details, such as the two metal rollers on the front and the strange "spike" on top of the radiator.

Hi Bill!
Sorry, I think Alan is right and this is ADGR. No rear twins on both Steyr 440 and 640.
Here is a nice ADGR factory photo, on it details are well visible:
Cheers!

Re: Romanian Truck
Hi kuwhankhan, Alan and Ilian:
A very dumb mistake on my part.
My first thought was a Steyr 650 and I looked in my photo files for such a truck and the photo I posted was the first one to appear.
I was in a hurry and just inserted it into my post as it looked like the truck kuwhankhan had posted. And of course, it was, but
it was an ADGR just as Alan and Ilian have pointed out. Wrongly identified in the Russian site where I got the photo.
So, now at least the mystery is solved and I will go and stand in the corner for half an hour as punishment.
BTW, here is a photo of a "real" Steyr 640 (or possibly 440) and you can see the type family resemblance. Still, no excuse.
Edit: In the further attempt at accuracy, the original photo I posted is a 440 (taller windscreen and full rear mudguards) and here is the 640, a somewhat more austere vehicle although otherwise looking very much the same.

Re: Romanian Truck
THANK YOU so much guys! This truck was a mistery for years to me.
In fact, I was so wrong that I thought, that truck was a model from 1920's.
I've just noticed that another ADGR is in this picture (top left), very blurry but the way.
