Book review : Germany 1945 - 1948

Can anyone recommend a book discussing about the new Doenitz "government" after Hitler's death? I am interested in examining the role of Himmler, Goering, Speer, and others, in persuing a new leadership role in the 4th Reich (Padfield's "Himmler" and GS Graber's "SS" gave only a slight treatment). Many books I had come across concluded their stories at Hitler's death, and others have focused solely on the Nuremberg trials. I would like to look at something in the intermediate years.

Thanks for any inputs!
