What was the role of this vehicle?

WWI Austria-Hungarian Skoda big guns tractor?
Hello

this is one of the few vehicles of the Wehrmacht that is immediate
can be assigned to a specific unit. It is practically endemic.
The diesel-electric Austro-Daimler tractor M17 was at the II. Abt.
Art.Rgt.84 as ZkWg. M17 (t) used.

Ps to the staff,

Great that you are back on air

The image is from a tractor M16(t) and only this tractor was used with 24cm Skoda M16 gun, the guns present in II./Art.Rgt.84. The M17 was not used for tow 24cm Skoda gun.

The II./Art.Rgt.84 wasn't the same unit with 194mm ex-French self-propelled guns?
Were they used together with the 24cm K16(t) at the same time?

A diorama with both the 24cm K16(t) + ZkWg. M16 (t) and the 19.4 cm K 485(f) Sfl. is odd thing.

The II./Art.Rgt.84 received the 194mm GPF ex-French self-propelled guns in substitution of damaged 24cm Skoda M16 guns in 1942

On the other hand, another image from Ebay: FAMO tractor ??? :?

Hi Rui,

first I have to apologize it is of course a ZkWg. M16 (t)
I've mistyped !
The II./Art.Rgt.84 What's the same unit with 194mm ex-French self-propelled guns?
After the Czech guns were used up the Abt.
In May 1942 converted to 19.4 cm K 485 (f) Sfl. as Sturm said
A diorama with both the 24cm K16 (t) + ZkWg. M16 (t) and the 19.4 cm K 485 (f) Sfl. Is odd thing.
Not strange the gun was never in unity at the same time
