Can anybody translate a Hebrew (I think) Auschwitz document for me?

Oops, the document is not in Hebrew but in a code language used by the Auschwitz resistence...

A "code language"? Is the document written with Hebrew characters?

Maybe it is Yiddish, or Ladino. (It might be written with code words, but might still be Yiddish or Ladino with the Hebrew characters).

Can you post a copy of the document?

I confused it with another interesting document, a page from the handwriting of Sonderkommando Salmen Gradowski. What language is this?

The characters are Hebrew script (handwriting), but I think the language is Yiddish.

I just looked for some information about Gradowski and the Sonderkommando resisters. There are a few web sites that discuss these subjects. (For example, there is an english translation of a chapter from some of Gradowski's writings at this address: http://www.jewishgen.org/yizkor/oswieci ... ml#Page482

As for the number code, perhaps you could contact someone at the US Holocaust Museum or the Museum located on the Auschwitz site in Poland. They might have translations of the journal material, and probably the deciphered version of those coded messages.

I already have a german translation of this message, it's about the Sonderkommando uprising two days earlier, however I would have liked to verify this translation. But if its coded...
