How many people died around the world because of WW2 ?

Does anyone knows the total number (in millions) of deaths occured worldwide at WW2
Also does anyone know a more exact number then 6 million, of jews who perishes by the nazy death/war machine ?
I need the most accuret answer.

Nobody know the anwer, but counting everyone including Asia, the numbers run around 50 to 70 million. As to the Jews, the number of between 4.6 and 6.1 million will not get you thrown in jail anywhere that I know of.

dark_fang -- There are a lot of statistics on the subject, and all of them are controversial. The best approach is to look for the estimate and find out how the author came to that conclusion. Here are some statistics from one author -- Hans Dollinger -- from "The Decline and Fall of Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan," Crown Publishers, New York: 1968, p. 422:
