#371 13./JG 54: A Navajo Indian's head was used briefly from about August 1944 until January 1945, when the unit was disbanded.
This is possibly an ironic allusion to the Luftwaffe term for enemy aircraft as ' Indians '. Focke-Wulf Fw 190.
