I have updated the list of rolls made digital. No file this semester, but check sturmpanzer.com for the new items.

What's new?

=> 119 new entries (+2,0%) vs. 6 months ago.
This is somewhat more than in the semester before.

=> Total makes more than 5,300 rolls. This includes half of T314/T315, 60% of T311.

=> Per my count, more than 93% of the rolls are available if you ask around (that's +1pt vs. 6 months ago). The remaining 7% of rolls are only available for a fee or are held by people who are still shy of sharing.

From what I see and the people I am in contact with, there was a steady flow of new rolls until April, but it dratiscally slowed down with the Covid crisis, when NARA closed down NARA. This probably froze the activity of resellers too. It supports the conclusion that new rolls are fresh copies from NARA rather than old files laying around on hard drives or on CDs.

Some of you may have noticed the guy selling KTB and other documents on ebay (I'm not putting a link on purpose). This ebay seller is careful not to disclose the roll number in his ads. A buyer confirmed that all identifications of the rolls are removed in the files he bought there. It's a nice case of concealing information to trick newcomers.

As Mori pointed out, many NARA files are available for free on http://wwiidigitalarchives.org. For some reason, my downloads crashed after transferring ca. 50% of the file, and now the server says that I exceeded my data limit and have to wait. In order to shorten that period and make sure the transfer works, is somebody already in possession of T-78 R-900 (the first part of the Volksgrenadier Kartei) willing to send me this file?

Best regards,
askropp

Hi guys,

Anybody have T-312 Roll 1015 (20.Geb.Armee)? I'm also after T-312 Roll 1018. Sturmpanzer.com shows they're on the Mori List.

Many thanks!
