Looking forward to it. Will there be a second printing for volume 1?

I asked Roger Bender about that a few months ago. Sadly, he responded that he doesn't plan a second printing.
Which means that I should probably pitch that to another publisher one of these years. I wouldn't do so without overhauling the manuscript- cleaning up errors and adding new photos. I've accumulated a great deal more data and imagery since "Gauleiter 1" was released six years ago.

Hello, Paul.

I'm working on it. A few more months and I'll be driving the manuscript and photos to Roger Bender.

Thanks for your interest.

Best wishes,
~ Mike

Michael:

Sweet words indeed. I was starting to wonder whether Roger was still in the publishing business. There hasn't been a release for over a year now.

Mike

Are you including any new research that was not in vol. 1 & 2?

What is the update on Volume 3 being published?

I see there is a signature box in volume 2. Are there stickers available Michael?

guder:

Michael has advised me that it will be sent to Roger Bender soon, just finishing up on the manuscript. I was given the great opportunity to view the manuscript for both Volume 3 and 4 and I can say everyone will be blown away. The text is everything one could hope for. There are many obscure Gauleiters covered. The photos for volume 3 are fantastic. If you have the previous 2 volumes you know what I mean. A lot of "goodies" in volume 3. And although Michael and Andreas are still working on Volume 4 it will be another "must have". It not only covers all of the Deputy Gauleiters but also cover all ILLEGAL AUSTRIAN Gauleiters and Deputy gauleiters that are often overlooked because they were not officially sanctioned by the NSDAP in Munich. That is just a bonus for all of us. Sit tight, volume 3 is coming soon and you will not be disappointed. Michael and Andreas always put out a first class publication and these will continue to place them in the forefront of research in the area of Gauleiters etc.

The manuscript for Volume 3 is complete and I will be submitting it to Roger Bender this week. Have already emailed him the text (260 pages at 8.5" x 11", which will result in many more pages once condensed into the smaller format of his books) and will be sending him 504 photos soon (he'll likely use, at most, 2/3 of those).

Thanks to the many AHF members who have contributed so generously to this and my other projects.

Best wishes,
~ Mike

Awesome. Can’t wait. Have not bought a Bender
book in a long time. These are truly of the highest quality. Thus far I have 2 of Mike’s SS Police books and both 1 and 2 of Gauleiters. 3 is going to be great. Looking forward to the section
on Julius Streicher.
